Contribution privacy

Dictionary suggestions are private while they are reviewed. The contribution form collects proposed language, source links, and an explanation. It does not ask for your name, email, or medical information.

Please do not submit patient names, health histories, or personal health information. Suggested language and supporting source material may become part of the public dictionary after review.

Invited reviewers and project administrators can read submissions, revisions, and review notes. Reviewer names and account email addresses are used privately for access and decision records. They are not included in public dictionary pages.

Closed, unpublished suggestions are eligible for removal after 365 days under the default retention setting. Published evidence and decision records are retained to preserve the dictionary history. The project owner must operate the documented retention process.

When configured, Clerk processes reviewer sign-in and Cloudflare Turnstile verifies submissions to reduce spam. Their services have their own privacy terms: Clerk and Cloudflare.

This dictionary is a language reference. Entries and review labels do not replace a qualified interpreter, clinical judgment, or medical advice.
